NWBA has one Division Coordinator per division: T-Ball, Rookie, Minor, and Major. Division Coordinators work closely with Team Managers (Head Coaches) and Team Parents within their division throughout the season, as well as with the Registrar, Clothing Coordinator, Equipment Officer, Field & Umpire Scheduler, Tournament Coordinator, the Special Events Coordinator, and the Volunteer Coordinator.
Responsibilities include:
In conjunction with the Registrar, and based on Assessments of older division players, assign players to teams for each division before the season begins.
Share team rosters and relevant player information with Team Managers (Head Coaches).
In conjunction with the Clothing Coordinator and the Equipment Officer, coordinate with Team Managers and Team Parents re: the distribution of team uniforms and team equipment at the start of the season, and the collection of these items at the end of the season.
In conjunction with the Field & Umpire Scheduler, and in consultation with Team Managers, establish and communicate the schedule for practices, games, and tournaments for each team in each division.
Send out reminders to Team Managers and Team Parents during the season re: game rules, dates for upcoming events, any changes to schedules, etc.
Maintain ongoing communication with Team Managers and the NWBA Board throughout the season.
Assist the Tournament Coordinator, the Special Events Coordinator, and the Volunteer Coordinator, as needed, with organizing and running division-wide and league-wide events.
Assist the Volunteer Coordinator, Team Managers, and Team Parents, as needed, with tracking parent volunteer hours (team level and league level) during the season.
