Rookie, Minor, and Major division players may be eligible for additional play on competitive All-Stars or Selects teams in the post-season (June and July). The post-season All-Stars and Selects teams will involve a higher level of play; players who are selected for these teams can expect more challenging competition and more time commitment for practices, exhibition games, and tournaments than during the regular season of play.

To give you an idea of some of NWBA’s past successes in the post-season, please have a look at our Hall of Champions page.

Tryout sessions for our coach-selected All-Stars and Selects teams will occur in May. When forming All-Stars and Selects teams, NWBA coaches will consider player eligibility, skills, performance during the regular season and at any tryout sessions, sportsmanship, and availability during the post-season.

Players who are involved in post-season play must have played the regular (spring) season with NWBA, and they must meet all age, residency and minimum play requirements. Players who are selected for All-Stars or Selects teams will be charged an additional fee to help cover some of the costs associated with post-season play, such as customized uniforms. Players who need financial assistance with the additional fee should contact the NWBA Registrar.

NWBA is tentatively planning to have a Selects 9 team and a Selects 11 team for the 2025 Post-Season, as well as 11/12 (Majors) All-Stars, 9/10 (Minors) All-Stars, and 7/8 (Rookies) All-Stars teams, dependent on coach and player availability and interest.

More information about the 2025 Post-Season All-Stars and Selects teams will be shared with NWBA families during the upcoming spring season. Stay tuned!
