About NWBA

Since 1952, New Westminster Baseball Association has been offering affordable, volunteer-run baseball programs for boys and girls ages 4 to 12.

NWBA’s mission is to provide a fun, fair, and positive baseball environment. We aim to develop student athletes who are committed to achieving excellence in the classroom, on the field, and in our community.

We are grateful to the local community for sponsorships, coaching, and support through other volunteer roles.

We organize many fun events throughout the year, including tournaments, especially during our busy spring season!

Please note that for the For the 2026 Spring Season, New Westminster Baseball Association (NWBA) will only offer baseball programming for Little League Majors.

All other players (born in 2021 or earlier) who are interested in playing baseball in New West in 2026 are encouraged to visit New West Minor Baseball (NWMBA)/Diamondsides/River Giants to register for BC Minor Baseball Association programs: 5U, 7U, 9U, 11U, 13U, 15U, 18U, 19+.

NWBA respectfully acknowledges that the area on which we run our Little League programs and events is the traditional and unceded territories of the Halkomelem-speaking peoples, represented today by the Qayqayt First Nation.

Players registered with NWBA must reside or attend a school within the NWBA league boundaries. The league boundary consists of all of New Westminster, southeast Burnaby, and east Richmond up to No. 7 Road. Please refer to this interactive league boundary map.

All NWBA-hosted tournaments take place at Justin Morneau Field (JMF) in Moody Park, New Westminster. Home games for the Minor and Major divisions typically occur on or near JMF, too. Please see our locations page for more information about the specific fields each division uses for practices and games.
